A friend of mine dealt with you a couple of years ago to obtain a mortgage with a similar situation to mine.
I bank with Westminster Savings where my current mortgage is. I have equity in my home and would like to purchase a townhouse of equal or perhaps less value. Due to the market I do not want to sell my townhouse first until I have obtained a place to move.
Is it possible to get a mortgage ahead of time paying off the existing mortgage once my townhouse sell?
I understand that Westminster Savings does not do this from speaking with my friend although I have not asked them directly.
