Hi Bryon. I contacted you a few months ago about potentially working with me on a mortgage loan. At the time, I was also working with Citibank who preapproved me. Well, I found my property and went through the entire process including appraisal (I have a report from last week!), repairs (my husband helped the seller with those), and we were days from closing. On the last review of my application, Citibank discovered a problem: my credit score had dropped 100 points! 2 of my student loans had been floating around to my former residences under my former name, Martinich. Those loans became delinquent. they reported to the Credit companies and even though I got those current, I couldn’t repair my score. It’s a miserable 548. If I’m judged by my score, it’s bad. However, I’m current on all my bills, I make about $4000 per month, and my job is putting me on salary in August at 55k. The house I want to buy is 65k in Hot Springs, MT. So, I guess the big question is; can we work anything out to get a loan for this place, even though my credit is so bad right now? Second question; if we were able to work something out, could we do it within a couple weeks’ time? I would love to talk to you if you think this would be feasible. Thanks! Melissa Cox 273-1556
