With over thirty years of business experience, Mr. Cotton is able to guide his commercial clients towards success. Vic knows the importance of securing not only strong business financing but rather securing long term financing that will allow a company to grow to its full potential. With Vic’s established network of commercial lenders and accounting professionals even the most complicated financial situations can obtain financing.
Vic is a former partner of Petland Superstores across Canada from 1995 – 2004. In that capacity, he launched the Pets For Life Foundation, the Pet Food Bank and hosted a National television show on Global called, “The Pet Guys”. From 1996 – 2004. The Pet Guys can be seen on the O.N.E network.
Due to his recognized business successes Vic was a finalist for the Western Canada Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2000 and The Mayor of Calgary presented Vic with the Calgary Award for Business in Calgary in 2000 and the Better Business Award of Ethics 2000.
Vic has owned several other companies over the past few years and became a licensed Mortgage Associate 2008 so that he could best advise other businesses owners on how to successfully and efficiently grow, operate and manage their business accordingly.
In 2010 Vic wrote his AMP exam and obtain his AMP ( Accredited Mortgage Professional ) Out of 168,000 Mortgage Brokers in Canada and the U.S only 3800 hold their AMP designation.
Constantly being involved in social media news updates Vic writes Real Estate articles for the Calgary Herald and several community newspapers. Vic can also been seen occasionally on Global Television with Leslie Horton on Saturday mornings as he enlightens viewers with regards to the latest Canadian Real Estate market conditions.
Vic Cotton is currently an active member of CAAMP (Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals) and AMBA (Alberta Mortgage Brokers Association.
