Rowan worked for a large local credit union from 2000 to 2005, where he gained extensive experience in banking, loans, and investments. He is hard working, accessible, ethical, and able to deliver under tight deadlines. His laid-back approach and fun-loving style make him a very easy and yet efficient person to deal with. He enjoys working with people, and is an excellent choice for people with difficult schedules who need a personal touch.

Knowing that not every client fits into the box that banks look for, Rowan is skilled at advising clients what term, rate, and product type best fits their unique and individual needs while making sure they understand and are comfortable with their choices.

He prides himself on being accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by both traditional telephone and fax methods, or for those more technologically adept via email and other electronic mediums.

Born and raised in Surrey, Rowan now resides in downtown Vancouver with his wife. While growing up, he had extensive exposure to the real estate market and financing, as his father is a realtor. He graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree from Kwantlen University as the top overall student in the School of Business and was subsequently awarded the Dean’s Medal for his efforts. He also completed the Canadian Securities Course in 2001 and the Mortgages Course in 2005, both with honours standing. He now works under the banner of The Mortgage Centre Canada, and is an independent sub-broker licensed under Citywide Financial Corp., one of Vancouverÿs most well established and experienced brokerages.
