DLC BTB Mortgage Solutions: Changing the Face of Mortgage Financing

Mike and Gail Distefano established BTB Mortgage Solutions in 2007 and have strived ever since to set themselves apart from other mortgage brokers in their local community. What began as a two-person operation has blossomed into a 2 office network with 12 agents.

Regardless of anyone’s financial situation, the process of getting a mortgage is often stressful and confusing. But BTB Mortgage Solutions wants to change the face of mortgage financing by educating their clients and ensuring they help them navigate each step throughout the home buying and mortgage financing processes.

Giving back

There’s much more to a successful business than simply turning a profit. That’s why BTB Mortgage Services is committed to also having a positive impact within the local community. BTB Mortgage Solutions has raised tens of thousands of dollars through sponsored events and donations that have gone directly to the local food bank through Project SHARE.

Every day, the BTB Mortgage Solutions team makes dreams come true. Sometimes those dreams are simple, involving three days’ worth of emergency food supplies, while other times those dreams involve dream homes.

BTB Mortgage Services is honoured to be a finalist 10 times over the CMP Canadian Mortgage Awards – the Oscars of the Canadian mortgage brokering industry. To receive one nomination is a fabulous accomplishment, but to be a finalist 10-time finalist is an astounding victory – especially for a regional operation.

In April2011, BTB Mortgage Solutions opened a franchise with Dominion Lending Centres – Canada’s largest mortgage brokerage and leasing firm – to take the business to the next level as Dominion Lending Centres BTB Mortgage Services.

This means being part of a large national brand that can offer even more products and services to DLC BTB Mortgage Solutions clients. It also translates into added access to ongoing agent training, and technology and tools that make it even easier to keep in touch with and educate clients to ensure they’re always making informed decisions.
