Greg Carrie, from Elgin Realty, gave us your name on the weekend. We currently have our home in St. Thomas up for sale but are committed to a new home purchase in Guelph through Carson Reid homes, which is due to close August 13, 2014. We have a conditional offer on our St. thomas home based on the buyers selling their home by August 11, 2014. We are concerned that we won’t have our home sold in time to close on the Guelph home. Our bank will not bridge finance us without a firm offer on our St. Thomas residence. Greg said you helped his sister finance in the same situation which would be basically owning two homes until the St. Thomas home sells. As we stand to lose a down payment of $30,000, we are wondering if there is something you can do for us. We don’t have a mortgage on the St. Thomas home, however, we have a Line of Credit. As we’re not sure exactly how this process works, we would need some clarification. Thank you for your time.
